Our mission to prevent lung disease and promote lung health is the driving force behind all of the special events held by the American Lung Association. This Metra promotion day will be on September 10th, 2012. The volunteers will be promoting the Fight for Air Walk, which will be held on September 30th, 2012 at McDonald’s Hamburger University in Oak Brook, IL. There will be two shifts: one shift from 5:30am – 9:30am and the second shift from 4:00pm – 7:00pm to hand out flyers to individuals who are taking the Metra’s to/from the suburbs. The American Lung Association is in need of 10 volunteers in the morning and 10 volunteers at night.
