The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is looking for volunteers to help with our annual Leukemia Cup Poker Run at the Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club on August 11. The first shift will last from noon to 4:00 p.m.; volunteers must be 16 years or older for this shift. Volunteers in this shift will hand out poker cards at various spots around Lake Michigan and assist on the docks. There will be a second shift from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm where volunteers will help register guests and assist with the silent auction. Volunteers for the second shift must be 18 years or older. Fundraisers like the Leukemia Cup Poker Run help LLS raise money for patient services, advocacy, and life-saving cancer research.
