Healthy Schools Campaign (HSC) is seeking a full-time Development Manager. The manager will oversee and coordinate logistics and administrative functions for HSC events, including the annual benefit and other donor and program events, and provide fundraising and administrative support and oversight for HSC’s corporate and individual donor programs. This is a full-time position based in HSC’s office in the Chicago Loop.
Qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of post-college employment in a similar or complementary position; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong experience managing and coordinating special events; strong experience managing and coordinating an individual donor program; strong experience working with fundraising software; experience with Salesforce, The Databank and Events.org are a plus; excellent administrative and computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite; experience creating and managing event budgets; ability to manage multiple tasks and work well within a project team; a commitment to student health, environmental health, and healthful food a plus.
Additional requirements include working some nights and weekends; some lifting for meeting and event setup; lifting and moving boxes and setting up equipment; lifting at least 25 lbs; willing to submit to background checks including criminal and driving record reviews; the ability to travel.
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 annually per experience
