Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) runs regular outreach at 30 shelters, transitional housing and street programs across Chicago, reaching 4,500 people a year. From this, homeless, at-risk and recently homeless people are mobilized to advocate with CCH on issues that affect their lives, focused on access to housing/shelter, jobs and public schools. A Speakers Bureau builds community support through speaking engagements at school, university, civic and religious venues, reaching more than 3,000 people a year. Our Law Project also offers legal aid to homeless students, unaccompanied youth and families.
